Powder Coating

Powder coating is a process whereby a polyester powder is baked onto an item in a special oven, leaving a finish that is superior and much more durable when compared to painting.

All parts to be powder coated are prepared by either chemically dipping or shot blasting to remove any contamination from the surface; at this point we can deal with any light damage and repairs. The item is then baked and the polyester powder is carefully applied, followed by a final session in the oven to set the powder to the part.

The choice of colours is vast and we can also offer diffrent textured finishes, from smooth to wrinkled. We can now also offer a chrome powder coat finish - this gives an appearance comparable to chrome plating that is much more practical for every day use.

Many parts can be powdercoated, from garden furniture to alloy wheels to engine parts - see below for examples of our work, and get in touch for prices.
